Apple Slice

Ingredients
3
medium sweet apples, peeled and grated coarsely

cup
oat or barley flour
- I grind 1 cup of oat groats or pearl barley

tbsp
water

tsp
ghee
2
tbsp
maple syrup
1/4
tsp
cinnamon
1
tsp
vanilla extract
a little white rice flour
- optional
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients and press the mixture into a glass baking tray or dish with a back of a tablespoon.
Optionally, dust the top of the mixture with a little white rice flour. It will create an effect of icing sugar, which looks very appetizing.
Bake for ten minutes in 220 C / 430 F fan oven or 240 C / 460F conventional oven. (Alternatively, use lower temperatures but cook for longer.)
Take out of the oven and cut into squares directly in the glass tray. Let them cool before adding to another container or a lunchbox.
