This dip is very quick to make if you already have fresh cheese on hand (by the way, fresh ricotta is so easy to make in an Instant Pot).

Zesty Cream Cheese Dip
Great for a party
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup fresh ricotta cheese - homemade is best
- 1 tbsp creme fraiche
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 tsp olive oil, coconut oil or ghee
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary or 1/3 tsp dry
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp arrowroot flour - mixed in 2 tsp water
- 2 tbsp chopped fennel fronds or dill
- 1 tsp grapefruit zest
- 1/2 tsp nigella seeds, fried in a little oil for 1 minute - optional topping
Instructions
- Blend the cheese, creme fraiche and water in a blender.
- Gently sauté rosemary in oil, stir in the salt.
- Mix in the blended cheese.
- Whisk in the arrowroot flour mixed with a little water. Heat the mixture through.
- Stir in the chopped herbs.
- Add in the zest and the optional seeds and enjoy.
