These brightly coloured flatbreads look beautiful served with white Paneer cheese. Add a bowl of green soup for even more contrast!
This recipe is gluten free due to the rice flatbreads.
Purple Chapati Wraps with Homemade Cheese
Gluten Free Wrap
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh Paneer cheese, sliced into 5-7 cm pieces - homemade is best (see the recipe in the notes)
- 6 purple chapatis - see recipe in the notes
- 1 tbsp ghee
Instructions
- Preheat a cast iron pan (if using) for ten minutes or low-medium flame.
- Melt the ghee and place the paneer pieces into the pan.
- Fry gently on each side till slightly golden.
- Wrap the cheese into the chapatis and serve with a bowl of green soup.Alternatively, add a little more ghee to the pan and fry the wraps gently to heat through on each side.
